Babysitter Training

This Blended Learning American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course is designed for youth ages 11–16 who want to gain the skills and confidence to become exceptional babysitters. Through engaging videos, hands-on practice, and guided discussions, participants learn essential childcare techniques including feeding, diapering, and playing with children of all ages. The course also focuses on effective leadership, teaching clear communication, boundary-setting, and conflict management to foster safe, structured environments. Lifesaving skills are introduced through interactive lessons simulating real-life emergencies and obtaining a First Aid/CPR certification. Upon completion, participants receive a certification that demonstrates their readiness to safely and confidently care for children and infants. Participants will receive an email link to complete the approximately 90-minute online portion prior to the in-person class.
