Join the Crete Park District as we continue the cherished tradition of our Memorial Lights Ceremony. This year, the ceremony moves outdoors to the corner of Main and Exchange Streets and will kick off the new Crete Country Christmas Community Tree Lighting and Holiday Sing-Along.

For $5, you may purchase a memorial light in honor or memory of a loved one. During the ceremony, individual memorial candle lights representing each honored name will be illuminated as names are read aloud. Following this special remembrance, the community tree's colorful lights will be switched on, ushering in the holiday season and the start of the evening's festivities.

Memorial lights purchased after November 30 will still be added to the tree and recognized during the ceremony; however, names will not be included in the printed brochure or on the recognition sign.
